The Nurse Practitioner Clinic is committed to ensuring that both our website and physical clinic are as accessible as possible to all clients. This statement sets out our current accessibility provision and known limitations.
We have designed this website with clarity and readability in mind. The following features have been implemented to support accessibility:
Text is set at a legible size with strong contrast against background colours. The site is navigable by keyboard. All images include descriptive alt text. The site is responsive and functions across mobile, tablet and desktop devices. We have avoided flashing or rapidly moving content that could be problematic for users with photosensitive conditions.
We recognise that no website can be fully accessible to every user in every context. We are committed to improving accessibility over time and welcome feedback on any barriers you encounter.
Please note that our clinic is based within a private residential property in Dedham, Essex. There is a step at the front entrance which may present a difficulty for clients using a wheelchair or those with limited mobility. We regret that we are currently unable to provide step-free access to the treatment room.
If you have concerns about physical access, please contact us in advance of your appointment so we can discuss the best way to accommodate your needs. We are happy to explore alternative arrangements where possible and will always do our best to ensure you feel welcome and supported.
Inside the clinic, the treatment room is on the ground floor. Parking is available directly outside the property.
We are happy to communicate in alternative formats where required. If you need information provided in a different way — for example, in larger print or via a different communication method — please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you experience any accessibility barriers on our website or at our clinic, or if you would like to discuss your access requirements before visiting, please get in touch by phone or WhatsApp on 07772 589 922, by email at laura@thenursepractitionerclinic.co.uk, or via Instagram DM @thenursepractitionerclinic.
We take all accessibility feedback seriously and will respond promptly to any concerns raised.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where practically possible for a website of this nature. We are committed to ongoing improvement.
